Multi Skilled Carpenter/ Plumber
£32,000 Per annum
Location within Hackney & Haringey areas
Van + Benefits
Temp to Perm
8 am – 4 pm
My Client is currently looking for a Multi Skilled Carpenter/ Plumber to work for a Local Authority Contact covering areas within Hackney and Haringey.
The post holder will undertake repairs and maintenance work in both occupied domestic properties. The successful Multi Skilled will be working from a from a PDA system where jobs will be allocated on a Reactive basis.
Duties for the Multi Skilled Carpenter/ Plumber (Not limited to)-
- Carrying out Carpentry works ie skirting boards, door hanging and work tops,
- Completing Plumbing works ie tracing leaks, installing sinks and baths, and general plumbing maintenance,
- Basic tiling,
- Basic painting and decorating,
- Basic patching up work,
Required
- NVQ 2 in Carpentry or Plumbing
OR
- City & Guilds Qualification in Carpentry or Plumbing
OR
- 10+ years working in the Carpentry or Plumbing Industry
Please note for this position a full UK Drivers Licence is required along with undergoing a DBS check. Previous Experience in the Social Housing sector is an advantage.
