London – within the M25
Mobile – van and fuel card

Salary £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
Working for a leading security company, we are looking for a gate engineer to join their expanding team. The gate engineer will be working within commercial premises which may involve installation, maintenance and reactive works.
Due to the nature of the contract requirements, you will also be required to go through a high level of security clearance, and offer of employment is dependent upon your clearance.
The gate engineers general duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Installation, service, fault-finding and maintenance on a range of automated equipment such as automatic gates, automatic barriers, automatic bollards, automatic entry systems and so on.
- Working on access control systems
- Completing company documentation and reports.
- Completing risk assessments.
- Carrying out site surveys.
- Giving technical support to our customer base.
- Install gates, bollards, garage doors and barriers to specifications within the London and Home Counties area mainly.
- Read site plans, drawings and prepare equipment needed
- Detect and repair system faults
- Perform routine maintenance services
- Test system, train customers on functions
- Complete timesheets, expenses paperwork
Qualifications
Minimum of Electrical City & Guilds, 17th Edition/ 18th edition
